Patient Assistance Program
If you’re part of a clinical trial and need help covering the costs of:
- Gas, Rideshare, or Public Transit
- Flights or Hotel Stay
- Meals or Parking
- Childcare or Caregiver Travel
You may qualify for support through the MTS SickleCare Patient Assistance Program.
The MTS Sickle Cell Foundation’s SickleCare Patient Assistance Program (SickleCare PAP) is designed to help reduce non-clinical barriers that may prevent individuals living with sickle cell disease from participating in clinical research.
Important Notice: MTS Sickle Cell Foundation is not a clinical research site, sponsor, or medical provider. We do not provide medical advice and do not participate in determining clinical trial eligibility, enrollment decisions, or study outcomes.

Thank you for your interest in the SickleCare Patient Assistance Program. MTS Sickle Cell Foundation provides non-clinical support services to help reduce barriers to participation in research. We are not part of your medical team and do not collect medical records. This form is completed voluntarily by the participant or their caregiver at least 5-7 business days before your scheduled visit. If you need assistance, please contact us at sicklecare@mythreesicklers.org.
The SickleCare Patient Assistance Program operates independently of clinical trial sponsors and research institutions. Participation in this program does not guarantee study eligibility or enrollment.
