Advancing Sickle Cell Care Through Expert-Led Medical Education
The MTS Sickle Cell Foundation, in partnership with Pfizer, NEXT ICR Foundation, and Randomize Now, invites healthcare providers to participate in a dynamic, expert-led educational experience designed to strengthen clinical knowledge and improve outcomes for individuals living with sickle cell disease.
This multi-site initiative will be delivered in both Atlanta, Georgia and Chicago, Illinois, with options for in-person and virtual attendance.

Vivien Sheehan, MD, PhD
Hematologist | Professor of Pediatrics, Emory University School of Medicine
Lifespan hematologist and internationally recognized SCD expert with extensive experience in clinical trials, translational research, and patient care of adults and children with sickle cell disease. Dr. Sheehan is the Chief Medical Officer of the MTS Sickle Cell Foundation, a Professor of Pediatrics at Emory University School of Medicine and the Director of Translational SCD Research at the Aflac Cancer & Blood Disorders Center, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
