Warrior Strong Care Package Initiative
The objective of our Warrior Strong Care Package Initiative is to support Sickle Cell Disease patients in the United States. Oftentimes, if a Sickle Cell patient receives a care package, it is because he or she is a child and is hospitalized. We believe that SCD patients should not have to be in a state of crisis to be supported.
We further believe that it is important that patients and families know that they are not alone and that there are organizations like MTS Sickle Cell Foundation and our community and business partners who really do care about the socio-economic struggles that goes hand in hand with a Sickle Cell Disease diagnosis.
**As a non-profit organization, we rely on the generosity of our sponsors. Program continuation is contingent on the availability of funds. The program could be modified or discontinued at any time if funding is limited or no longer available.**
We are proud to support Sickle Cell Warriors all across the United States! Below are the states we’ve served thus far through this initiative:

Our care packages include items that any warrior, young or old, can benefit from, like a comfortable sherpa blanket, medicine organizer, a medical diary to keep track of important information, an electronic device easel, and a hot/cold pack.

AM I ELIGIBLE TO APPLY FOR a Warrior Strong Care Package?
Those applying for a Warrior Strong Care Package must satisfy the following requirements:
- Applicant must be 18 years old, U.S. citizens or permanent residents and reside in the U.S. at the time of the application
- Request MUST BE for a Sickle Cell Disease patient. These care packages are for Sickle Cell Warriors ONLY.
- Patients must have a confirmed Sickle Cell Disease diagnosis, be in active treatment, scheduled to begin treatment or in follow up care, all attested by the patient or care team member.
- There is no income criteria.
- Patients may be insured or uninsured.

- The patient’s Sickle Cell Disease diagnosis
- Physician’s information (first and last name, and location)
